Kōan is Juhani Silvola on prepared guitar and electronics & Torbjørn Eftestøl on piano and prepared piano. They compose and improvise music that lies in between a sculptural and dramaturgical approach. Kōan means many things. One of them is to capture the movement inherent in the decay of a tone, and use this energy in the formation of a new kind of listening.
